Prof. Dr. Boglárka Koller, Jean Monnet Chair and Head of the CORE Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Ludovika University of Public Service, participated as a speaker at the 2025 IPSA World Congress of Political Science, held in Seoul, South Korea, from 10 to 19 July 2025.
The IPSA World Congress is one of the most prestigious events in the field of political science, bringing together scholars and academics from around the globe to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and explore new research and publication opportunities. Prof. Koller contributed to the panel “Towards Stronger Local Communities: Evidence from CEE Countries”, presenting her research on rural identities and nationalism in contemporary Hungary.
Beyond her panel participation, Prof. Koller engaged in strategic meetings with leading scholars and institutions, including the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Korea University, Sookmyung University, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. She also took part in a roundtable discussion on Energy Security and signed a Memorandum of Understanding between CEPSA and IPSA, reinforcing international academic cooperation.
The insights gained during the congress will enrich Prof. Koller’s ongoing research on European integration and contribute to the modernization of university curricula. Her active involvement underscores Ludovika University’s commitment to global academic dialogue and excellence.
